The B.C. Catholic is a weekly publication serving the needs of the Catholic Community in British Columbia and is the official newspaper of the Archdiocese of Vancouver.

There are about 47 regular publications printed each year, with a break of three weeks in the summer months. The paper covers international, national and local news of particular interest to Catholics. It also contains editorials, features, opinion pieces, letters, movie and book reviews, articles on saints and liturgy, announcements, classifieds and more.

Every year there are several issues with special advertising supplements on topics such as marriage, education and vocations.
